Walter Keeler (b. 1942). A studio stoneware two handled dish
A studio stoneware two handled dish, with shaped handle, the interior decorated with a stylised wave or swirl, the sides with two roundels.
This particular dish was part of the original Dayabandhu Collection, which has been recognised as one of the best British post-war ceramic collections; a treasure trove of British, French and Japanese works.
An uncommon opportunity to own this Walter Keeler dynamic, stylish and unusual stoneware dish with extruded loop handles. It has a salt-glazed finish and is impressed with his seal. In perfect condition, it has a smooth, glossy interior (with a swirl design) contrasting with the grainy exterior and handles. Please see photographs for details.
